The 2012 season is coming to a close and so the destination of the Division 1 title needs to be decided. Impressively Cork County remain unbeaten having completed 7 matches amassing a total 54 bonus points from a possible 56 which is indeed an excellent return. Despite the poor weather all summer and the MCU’s insistence that percentages won’t be used, it a tribute the Cork County 1 that they remain the favourites to clinch their third consecutive title in three years. County have a game in hand over their local rivals Cork Harlequins and so their destiny is in their own hands.
