The 2016 Cork County Annual Awards Night will take place on Friday, 4th November, at the Old Pavilion on the Mardyke. Full details of the night’s proceedings will be provided in due course with a slightly different format to previous years.
The Awards Dinner places are priced as follow:
- • Family Ticket (2 Adults & 2 Kids) – €50
- • Adult – €20
- • Youth (Under 18) – €5
Following a wonderful dining experience courtesy of our sponsors O’Flynn’s, the Annual Award winners in Senior, Junior, Minor and Youth categories will be announced.
Following a successful season during which the club clinched its second Leinster league title following our dramatic last gasp Division 2 triumph. There was also success at Munster level with retention of the Senior T20 and Premier Division titles.
The 2nd XI also put a slow start behind them to be in with a chance of league victory with great credit to Scot Jeffers for his management of both the Junior and Crusaders squads.
The 3rd XI had a difficult season following their double triumph in 2015 but Abdul Jabbar Younus led both the Minor and Lions sides with great passion and organisation with opportunities given to many of our youth players.
Our Youth squads showed excellent progression over the summer with our U14 performing admirably in the Munster U14 League with a number of our players being capped at U13 and U15 representative levels. Great credit goes to John Simon and all the coaching team for the progress made.
