Following the club AGM last December, the process of selecting a new Youth Committee for the upcoming 2022 season began. Sukhi Byrne was duly elected as the new Vice-Chairperson and will be the acting Chair until one is appointed.
Mortimer Kelleher succeeds Kieran Aherne as President of Cork County Cricket Club for the 2022 season. As a Mardyke man born and bred Mort has had an association with the club in one way or another going back to 1973.
Congratulations to Mort Kelleher who succeeds Kieran Aherne as 2022 Club President at the clubs Annual General Meeting. Peter Dineen was also elected as Chairman on a 3-year term until 2024. Best of luck to all those elected.

The Cork County Colts clinched the clubs' first-ever Cricket Leinster title at youth level when they were confirmed as Leinster Boys Colts B League winners following a run of 4 wins out of 5 in their league campaign.
The 1st XI clinched the 2021 Munster Premier Division in style with a 156 run victory over local rivals Harlequins at the Mardyke.
2021 promises to be a fresh start for Cork County who had to sit out the 2020 Leinster season due to the logistical restrictions imposed by Covid last summer.
