Cork County clinched their 4th consecutive Senior T20 Blast title with a commanding 6 wicket win over Co. Galway at the Mardyke following a long weekend of T20 action.

The Cork men proved irresistible in the competition once completing yet another clean sweep with victories over Cork Harlequins, Limerick City, Limerick and then Co. Galway in the Final.

County remain unbeaten in the Senior T20 Blast since its inception back in 2016 and have really set the bar for other clubs in the province in the T20 format and will no doubt see several of their players get recognition with the Heat and Reds.

Galway too won both their Pool B games against County Kerry and Limerick before going on to defeat Limerick City in a thrilling run chase in their Semi-Final.

Great credit to the grounds staff at the Mardyke who provided an excellent venue for Group A and the Finals Day.

A huge thanks to Steve Ross and Duncan Mackenzie for organising and also to Jim Doran, Sid Joshi, John Power & Frank Kennedy who assisted the coaching team.
